NA Release Date: 7/3/2021. Introduction. Charlotte is a solid servant in a vacuum, but she suffers from being dropped into an exceptionally crowded Servant pool. She’s almost strictly a downgrade from Assassin Shiki, she struggles to measure up to Izou, and even if you don’t have them she faces stiff competition from Hundred-Faces Hassan.
It’s long been an adage within the FGO community (deservedly or not) that there are no bad Archers. Summer Anastasia fits neatly into that pattern, with strong steroids, some utility, and a 50% battery.It’s just a basic Arts Mana Burst with no extra effects, and it’s 10% weaker than is normal. Really disappointing, especially compared to, say, Shiki’s, but at least it will help him do more damage with and get more of a refund from his NP. -Affection of the Holy Grail is actually a really good skill.For Fate / Grand Order on the iOS (iPhone/iPad), a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Rabbit's Reviews #140: Valkyrie".In a better kit it could be very good. She has a few gimmicky bits here and there, but ultimately she’s just a powerful and reliable ST Quick Servant. Kagekiyo has relatively low damage steroids, but she makes up for it with strong crit buffs and (more importantly) extremely high consistency. As a 4*, losing out to a comparable 3* is pretty depressing. Gawain isn’t a bad servant, and he can definitely work if you’re farming and just want to press red cards, but even in his niche he doesn’t have all that much of interest to offer. AoE NP aside, Hokusai is a pretty excellent servant, pairing an extremely good skillset with solid base stats and a strong class. And on top of all that, her art’s gorgeous. His skills are the main reason he’s good, though two of those skills are not all that great until they get buffs down the road. In anticipation of the Arcade collab, we get a Servant slightly early! It’s been ages since Tiamat originally debuted as an enemy in FGO’s story, so it’s a little wild to finally have her as a playable Servant. She doesn’t disappoint, either—Tiamat’s one of the best Buster units in the game, falling into the rare category of AoE ...You don’t need Merlin in order to do well at the game or to complete CQs, and it won’t be hard to find a Merlin on your support list, but his reputation isn’t overblown—he really is just that strong. He’s an AoE Arts Berserker with good loopage and damage, the potential for strong ramp in CQs, and easy crit access, but in exchange he has no survival tools, he has no useful utility, he has no instant battery, and he’s both debuff and RNG-reliant.
